Central Jamme Masjid is delighted to announce the launch of its new website, designed to improve user experience and accessibility for its members. In addition to the new website, Central Jamme Masjid has also unveiled a modernised brand logo. Both the updated logo and the website feature colours that complement the masjid’s carpet, creating a cohesive and familiar visual identity.

There were reports of positive sighting of the moon on Thursday 6th June 2024. We will be celebrating Eid al-Adha on Sunday 16th June 2024.

The new moon has not been sighted on Monday evening across the UK and nations to our East. Eid al-Fitr will be on Wednesday 10th April 2024.

Ramadan Mubarak! There have been reported sightings of the new moon in Saudi Arabia on Sunday 10th March 2024, declaring the 1st of Ramadan 1445 AH to be Monday 11th March 2024.

Saudi Arabia declared positive sighting of the moon on Sunday 18th June 2023. We will be celebrating Eid al-Adha on Wednesday 28th June 2023.

We confirm that the new moon has not been sighted tonight so our first Tarawih jama’at will be held tomorrow evening, and our first fast will be on Thursday 23rd March 2023. Ramadan Mubarak!

We confirm that the new moon has been sighted in the UAE, on Friday 1st April 2022, so our first fast will be on Saturday 2nd April 2022.

In accordance with the latest advice from the UK Government and the guidance from the Muslim Council of Britain, in sha Allah, the masjid will be re-opening on Wednesday 8th July 2020 from Fajr prayer.

The prime minister is announcing strict new curbs on life in the UK to tackle the spread of coronavirus. From this evening people must stay at home except for shopping for basic necessities, daily exercise, any medical need and travelling to and from essential work.

BAGR management has decided to safeguard our students and worshippers by suspending all 5 daily prayers and Salat al-Jumu’ah from Isha from 21st March 2020. The masjid will be closed until further notice.
